So before March starts to shed her lion-skin and give us all a much needed taste of spring, I should probably post the playlist for the February and Winter Honorable Mentions discs. They've been done for a little while. However, they are not ready to send out as I am hoping to try out new CD-making technology at the school. Thing is, I've been quite busy getting ready for concerts and our spring play and have yet to figure out how to use it. Soon. Always soon.
February is an odd mix. I thought January was stellar, so maybe this one just pales in comparison. There are some strong songs though.
The Honorable Mention discs were split up by time. Shorter songs on one and Longer on the other. I believe the cut-off is at 3:50. I know that's not necessarily short, but it was in the interest of fairness.

Zach's Notes
1. I just couldn't escape these guys while trying to make this list. I don't think their music is terribly exciting, but this song works for me.
2. Odd, but really catchy
3. Like electric soul
4. Like electric R&B/Soul
5. Like electric baby
7. Can't get enough of this band and their bass-first mentality
8. For Valentine's Day, duh!
9. A rare instrumental.
10. I love the fuzz.
11. Of their new, solar-powered album.
13. This song makes me think of Wyoming. And it is funny for me to imagine vampire-cowboys on some dude ranch.
14. Making his first appearance since December 09 with another sprawling, acoustic song.
15. Shot to the charts after this song was the iTune song of the day.
17. She's got a quirky following in the Denver area and, soon, in your heart.
18. A great song topic done so well.
19. Possibly the WEIRDEST music video on the planet.
23. Title track from the upcoming album. I wasn't a fan of really any of their first stuff. But, this is great.
24. Nothing like sweet, gorgeous harmony.
